Job Description:

• Making certain that care is provided to each consumer in a flexible and individualized manner, respecting the consumer’s choices for activities of daily living.
• Performing personal care, which may include bathing/showering, grooming, hygiene, mouth care, dressing, undressing, positioning, lifting/transferring, bowel care and toileting.
• Planning and preparing meals as required and assisting with meals and observing safe swallowing of food.
• Homemaking duties including housekeeping, laundry and shopping.

Qualifications:

• Be able to work flexible hours including shift work, weekends and holidays
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Be physically able to handle the job (lifting, etc.)
• Good oral command of the English language
